If you’re an adrenaline junkie looking for extreme adventure in Jaco, Costa Rica, your search is over! This full-day quest is packed with fun and thrills in the rainforest.
And while we have designed this experience for adventurous spirits, there are no required jumps. So any travel partners who only want to watch or swim are more than welcome too.
The Extreme Adventurer starts with a drive south along the coast. We then trek to five different waterfalls in three locations. Each waterfall is bigger and more beautiful than the last!
You can observe the falls from dry land, swim in the pools, or climb up and jump right in! The choice is yours. One of the falls we visit has jumps from 8 to 40 feet and a natural water slide!
After working up an appetite, we then enjoy an authentic Costa Rican meal at a typical local restaurant.
After lunch, we embark on a 4×4 journey deep in the mountains to arrive at arguably the most magnificent waterfall in all of Costa Rica. It stands 80 feet tall!
And when conditions are right, you have the option of cliff jumping from 10, 20, 30, or 45 feet into the deep pool at the base.
During this tour, you will venture into the Costa Rican rainforest. The first two locations have a five-minute hike to the falls and the last hike is only 15 minutes.

What to Bring
We run all our tours rain or shine. When it rains in Costa Rica, it is still relatively warm. The rain can actually enhance your rainforest experience!
However, if the rain is so strong that it creates unsafe conditions, your guide will cancel the tour and you can reschedule or receive a refund.
After picking you up from Jaco, Herradura, Hermosa, Quepos, or Dominical, we head south along the coast to the first waterfall. This is in Dominical and has options to practice jumping (if you want) from about 10 feet and then move up from there.
After enjoying some jumping and swimming, we drive around 15 minutes south to Uvita to the second set of falls.
Here, we will be able to slide down a 33-foot natural water slide and do some cliff jumping as high as 40 feet, if you desire.
After the first two falls, we head for a wonderful, unrushed Costa Rican lunch before driving deep into the mountains.
We then begin our 15-minute hike to the most beautiful waterfall in Costa Rica!
Your guide will show you how to safely climb up through the face of the waterfall to cliff jump or dive from 25 to 45 feet into the deep water below.
With all your desires for swimming, jumping, flipping, and diving quenched, we will drive back to Jaco for a GREAT night’s sleep.
