If you are looking for things to do in the Jaco beach or Herradura area this half day waterfall adventure is truly great for the whole family. If you want to get out into the Costa Rica Rain Forest to commune with nature, this adventure is for you. The hike is flat and short (20 minutes) to get you to several beautiful waterfalls. We often see monkeys on the hike or at the falls. If you want you can swim in the natural pools and get under the falls for a nice natural massage.
Feeling a little more adventurous? Dive on in! We have deep pools for cliff jumping in several different spots from 4’ to over 20’. Never done it before? A little scared? Don’t worry, our guides will help you overcome that little fear and teach you to jump like a pro?
Don’t even want to get wet? That’s OK, all the jumping and swimming is only if you want to.
Your guide will prepare a tropical fruit snack to enjoy before the hike back.
While this is rated an “easy hike” (we are in the jungle) so you should be able to walk on uneven ground to enjoy this adventure.

Your Adventure Begins
After picking you up from Hermosa, Herradura or Jaco Beach we will head South along the Pacific coast about 40 minutes till we head inland to the waterfall. With only a 20 minute flat hike through rural ranch land and rainforest trails this a relatively easy hike to get into the rainforest.
Jump, Swim or Dive!
We will spend our time enjoying the beauty of this tranquil setting and swim in the pools of these beautiful waterfalls. If you desire your guide will show you how to safely jump or dive from the cliffs into the deep water. Keep your eyes and ears open as monkey sightings are very common! When you are done swimming and jumping we will hike back out and return to Jaco Beach.
